This year simply evaporated for me. It seems like yesterday I was taking photos of the first wildflowers blooming in March. Now we are about to usher in 2013.
So I raise a glass to all my gardening friends and share some of my favorite pictures from 2012.

ReplyDeleteThank you HolleyGarden! The white squirrels are big around here. Apparently a circus truck overturned somewhere nearby in the late 40's and the squirrels escaped into the woods. They are not albinos but an actual species. There is even a huge White Squirrel Festival in the summer. Have a blooming good year!!

ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! We enjoy this time of year in the woods as we do not have to be on the look out for those sneaky snakes. Although, we are still waiting to see that first bear. LOL. The white squirrel is so cool and to give you a show on your birthday, what a treat! Dads trail looks so inviting and job well done....
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Skeeter! We're very proud of the trail -- gives me a chance to plant things in the shade which I've never done before. All those astilbes I've admired can now be mine (if the pocketbook can stand it!) And I'll be anxious to see if the wildflowers I planted last spring come back.
