Return to rose paradise



Last year I wrote about my visit to Doug and Shari's majestic mountaintop rose garden. If you missed "What you didn't see in Southern Living", you can read the article here.

 Last week I was invited back, and I must say the garden is more spectacular than ever. 

Words cannot describe the beauty. 

Words are not necessary.

    Wow, what a magnificent setting for a such a beautiful garden! Takes my breath away looking at those pictures. Wish I could be there!

    Yes Sunil, it is amazing. I can't imagine actually living there. I don't think I'd ever leave home! Hope your garden is coming along.

    Hi Lynn, yes, it's looking lovely. The roses on the arches are now in their second year and have reached eye-height. They're beginning to flower in succession and they really looking stunning.

    Yes Jane, it was a treat to hear about Mike Athy's success. I hope he is able to follow his dream and create even more beautiful roses for us.
