I was so upset. I dug the thing up and threw it away.I won't make that mistake again! My husband is growing all his veggies from seeds. Good for you! You can rest easy knowing your flowers are chemical-free.Lynn Hunthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12726341040976568748noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8362037601559788546.post-84477542430252726872016-01-23T15:28:06.155-05:002016-01-23T15:28:06.155-05:00It does appear that the tide is turning in regards...It does appear that the tide is turning in regards to public awareness about the importance of pollinators. But it's frustrating that plants are still grown packed with pesticides. I've started growing all my own annuals to guarantee they are clean and chemical-free.Casa Mariposahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16647089868277238456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8362037601559788546.post-13973117918116740442016-01-09T19:03:29.965-05:002016-01-09T19:03:29.965-05:00Hello Lynn, your friend's mountain-top rose ga...Hello Lynn, your friend's mountain-top rose garden is unbelievable! This year has had its ups and downs, just like most I guess. Last year was full of hard work in the garden and I'm hoping it will pay off this year. I think I will take it a bit easier in the garden this year as we over-stretched ourselves and we should try and enjoy it more and not treat it as a "slog" to get the work done; journey/destination and all that.Sunil Patelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17998062749546109287noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8362037601559788546.post-42678395576350531392016-01-04T22:06:04.020-05:002016-01-04T22:06:04.020-05:00Hi Cole! I can tell you the red and white one is Cherry Parfait. The pinks in the background are David Austins. I'll try to go back and take a closer look to see if I can tell you which ones they are. Cheers and Happy New Year!Lynn Hunthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12726341040976568748noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8362037601559788546.post-49248222993480829332016-01-04T21:08:36.684-05:002016-01-04T21:08:36.684-05:00Hi Lynn! I grew up in the Asheville area and travel back there often to visit family. I wanted to ask if you know the names of the roses pictured in the 5th picture down? Many thanks! - ColeAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00504969258405142126noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8362037601559788546.post-5785885169574752332016-01-03T12:01:39.271-05:002016-01-03T12:01:39.271-05:00Keeping my eyes peeled, Teresa!
